Construction bidding software

Bid from your numbers, not your memory.

Contractor bidding software that builds every bid from the same cost codes, markups, and minimums, presents it as tiers or a range when the job calls for it, and sends it as a branded proposal the customer signs on the page.

First form is free, no card. Every line in the bid traces back to a rule you set.

What bidding software has to get right

Three places a bid goes wrong, and what FlyQuote does at each

The price book

Cost codes with your rates, grouped into cost types, imported from a spreadsheet or built by hand. Formulas handle per-foot and per-square work. Update a rate once and every future bid reflects it.

The options

Named tier sets with however many levels you use, price ranges when exact is not honest yet, and minimum charges so a small bid never prices below what the visit costs. The engine raises it to the floor and shows the adjustment.

The handoff

A private, branded proposal page and matching PDF. The customer e-signs on the page, the status flips to Accepted, and you see when and how often it was opened.

From lead to bid

How a bid gets built

  1. 1

    The job arrives with evidence

A form on your site, a call recording, or a rep standing on site. Photos, video, transcripts, and answers land on one lead record, and attaching a file later revises the estimate.

  2. 2

    Scope becomes line items

Your question flow branches on the answers, so a repair and a full replacement go down different paths. On site, the field wizard prices the job live, area by area. From a call, the AI drafts the scope in the wording of your past bids.

  3. 3

    The engine prices it

Cost times quantity, then markup, then your minimum. Deterministic and server-side, from your rules only. Open the math behind any line before you send.

  4. 4

    Send, track, sign

Pick a proposal design, send the link, watch it get opened, and get notified when it is signed. Pipeline stages move the lead along with automatic emails at each step, so a bid that is sitting gets a nudge without you remembering to send one.

Who it is for

Residential and light-commercial bidding

FlyQuote is contractor bidding software for the trades that bid from a walkthrough rather than a drawing set: roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, remodeling, landscaping, painting, flooring, fencing, and the rest of the industries it is set up for. It does not read blueprints and it is not a plan room. If your bids start with a takeoff from drawings, do the takeoff the way our takeoff guide describes and price the quantities here.

Teams work from one price book with roles and permissions, so an estimator, a salesperson, and the owner all bid from the same rules, and the owner can see every bid in the pipeline.

Questions

About bidding with FlyQuote

No. FlyQuote does not read blueprints or connect to plan rooms. It is construction bidding software for residential and light-commercial contractors who bid from a walkthrough, a call, photos, and their own price book. If you take off quantities from drawings, do that first and price the quantities here.

From cost codes you set up once, with your own rates, formulas, markups, and minimum charges. The pricing engine computes every dollar from those rules on our servers, the same way every time, and you can open the full math behind any line before the bid goes out.

Yes. Define a tier set with as many levels as you use, two or five, not just good/better/best, and the proposal presents each tier priced by the same engine. You can also show the customer a price range and hide the exact total when a job genuinely depends on what you find.

They open a private, branded proposal page, with a matching PDF, and sign on the page. The status flips to Accepted and you are notified. You can also see when the proposal was opened and how many times, so follow-up is timed rather than blind.

Never. The AI drafts scope and wording, grounded in the estimates you have already written. The number is always computed by the pricing engine from your cost rules. Without an AI key the drafting step degrades and the pricing does not.
